Memorial website in the memory of your loved one
This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, David Kunetka, Sr., 80, who was born in Houston, Texas, on March 16, 1924, and passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 28, 2004, at Vitas Hospice in Houston.  We will remember him forever.  He leaves his wife of 52 years, Wilma; two daughters, Elaine Walker of Conroe, Texas, and Patricia Puckett of Bryan, Texas; a son, David D. Kunetka, Jr. of Katy, Texas; a brother, Walter Kunetka of Hitchcock,Texas; a sister, Doris Korenek of Houston, Texas; and seven grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  A lifelong resident of Houston, Dave graduated from Sam Houston High School and The University of Houston School of Technology.  He served in the United States Navy as a Machinist's Mate during World War II in the Pacific Theater on the U.S.S. Reno.  He was the owner of Kunetka Service Company, an air conditioning and heating company, for 35 years.  He loved gardening, fishing, RVing, and "tinkering." He will be missed by his wife, his children, all family, and friends.

His legacy
How David was and will be remembered  
David will be remembered as a loving and thoughtful husband and father. He put his family first and always was available in times of need.  He was a tower of strength with a heart of pure kindness.
